Features

· The model is an adult pelvis in true-to-scale size, with accurate anatomical structures.

· Three planes of the pelvic cavity can be demonstrated:

 a) The pelvic inlet plane

b) The pelvic midplane

c) The pelvic outlet plane

· Structures included are the hip bones, sacrum, sacral promontory, coccyx, ischial spines, ischial tuberosities, sacroiliac joints, iliopubic eminence, pubic symphysis, and the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae.
